Review Policy

Policies:

I am accepting Young Author books to review on this blog. You can send emails to candygirl dot higgins at gmail dot com (candygirl.higgins@gmail.com)

You can email me at that address if you wish for me to review your book, or you have a book in mind that you would like me to review. I am accepting ARC's, finished copies, self-published books and indie press books. At this time, I will not be accepting e-books or audiobooks.

I do reviews of Young Adult books, varying in genres, but mostly, this will be a science fiction/fantasy blog. That does not mean I won't review stories in other genres. I will not be reviewing any erotica.

Reviews:

I try to be as honest as possible with my reviews. I will not bash your book if I dislike it. All reviews will include at least something positive I liked about the book. Reviews will be posted within a week of me finishing the book. Each review will have the cover art and the summary of the book, from Goodreads or my own words. This is what books will be reviewed on:

- Plot
- Character Development
- Cover Art
- Overall Rating

Also included in reviews:
- Book info (author, release date, ISBN number, publisher, page count)
- Strengths/Weaknesses
- Favorite Quotes

Giveaways:

I would love to have a giveaway for you on this blog! If you would like for me to host a giveaway, here are the requirements:

- Title/Author
- Book Format (ARC, hardback, softback, etc.)
-  Shipping Requirements (US, US/CA, International)
- Giveaway run time
- Anything else that you would want to include (signed, photo of book, blurb, etc)

Series:

If you would like me to review a whole series, you can send hardback copies to me. Each book will have a separate review. If I have reviewed your first book and it is part of a series, don't hesitate to contact me about the sequel!
